Interior Light (or something like that)

On my 89 Sentra there isnt a switch that turns the interior light on when you open the passenger door. This didnt bother me but since I installed my alarm I need that switch for the alarm to go off when that door is open.

I went to Nissan and for the switch for the passenger door..

Now I have a few questions.

Where do the wires from the driver door switch go to? (they look like they go to the trunk but I cant find them in there. I also looked in Haynes manual and didnt see any mention of them)

Where can I get the piece that clips into the switch that comes out with the three wires need for the hook up? Whats this piece called?

Thanks for anyone who can help as I dont know how many of you have done this.

I replaced both of the rusted out POS ones in the old sedan. The part is plentifull at the jy and pocket sized.

The wires go up the door pillar to the light. All the parts are plug and play. Did you remove the plug on the psgr side and fish around for the connector?

Ya know, I have 2 or3 dome light assemblies out in the garage. You can have whatever you want for shipping. Or go to the jy.

IDK, that's why I asked if you looked under the plug.
