Anyone wanna buy a Sentra? maybe?
I've only had my car since January and I'm getting really tired of having to get it fixed.
First it was the alternator. Couldn't find the parts to get it rebuilt so I had to buy a new one. $300 Cdn plus labor
Then it was brake calipers at about $50 each for a total of $200 including parts and labor. My rotors aren't in great shape either.
My rear stuts need replacement. Something I meant to do when the car didn't need something more important done. Roughly $300 more.
I have a leak in my power steering which could cost $300-400 to fix. I've poured 2 bottles of P/S fluid in it since January. Much cheaper.
Valve cover gasket needs replacing. Not an expensive or major job, but one that needs to be done.
Discovered a small hole in my cooling system today. Shouldn't cost too much to fix though.
My next BIG job is to get the timing chain replaced. It's getting really loud too. Might require replacing a few other parts as well. Won't know til it's stripped down.
I recently replaced the fuel filter. My car gets about 29MPG (highway driving).
Anyway... enough venting. I like my car but it seems that the previous owner didn't maintain it very well. And I don't have lots of cash to throw around on a 13 year old car.
