I had mine behind the kick panels. Not exactly in the door, but close.

Yea there wasnt room in the door panel for that...

My crossovers dont fit behind the kick panel either.

I ended up mounting them in the trunk. I just had to run an extra set of wire.

that was also my question. depending on the size, most crossovers for the speaker tweet combo or usually around ...at a guess i would say 4X6? i would try and mount the right one under the o2 sensor switch behind the kick panel if your able and put the left one....say in the dash; behind or near the fuse panel. its been awhile since ive been down there but i think that would be a good place .......or hell just leave em in the trunk

What do you mean too much. Unhook them, pull the wire you have ran and mount them behind the center console. I had a set and mounted them behind the lower center consol peice (where the cubby-hole is). I must be the only person who loves installing systems. A buddy and I will be opening up a shop when he gets outta the Marines in 2 1/2 years. We did a complete install in his 2000 Grand Am.

Oh so true. The install I did on my buddy's Grand Am, I mounted everything on the fold down rear seats. I even got creative and ran every wire in the seat and ran it out 1" before connecting it to the terminal on the amp, crossover, or distrabution block.
