Hey guys. I know that the Hotshot header for the b13 sentra fits the ga16i motor but does it fit the emissions fittings or do i have to cap those off or something?
You definetly dont want to block the egr valve. That is counterproductive. Rather retube it like Crazy-Mart recommended. Most of the B12 emissions should be compatible with the header. You may have to reroute the sensor on the stock exhaust header to below the header on the pipe somehwere thoguh.
Many have asked about this, and I have done some checking as to the cyl. head bolt pattern on the exhaust side. I have verified that the bolt pattern for the head is the same. The only loose end is the lack of one fitting to reconnect your AIV [air induction vave] tube to. The B13's don't have that. In other words, the GA16i ex. manifold has two metal pipes that thread into it. One for the EGR, and the other for the AIV [Air Induction Valve]. The GA16DE only has the single fitting for the EGR tube. You would simply have to leave the AIV valve pipe disconnected. It is an emission control device, and does not affect driveability or performance. The EGR tube fitting is just a little lower on the GA16DE, but it seems like you could bend it just enough to reach.
NiSMoRaCiNG actually installed one on his B12 and said this:
okay okay i just bought the headers from a 91 and up sentra and it fits just right on my B12, but need to do some mods on the headers cause the piping on the bottom that goes to the cat it need to be a little down words and that's it OH YA and u have to buy the 91 sentra gasket i think that's what u call them?
