Question Newbie question about Antenna Replacement..

Bear with a newbie on a question about removal of the factory antenna..

I have no idea as to what tool to use to remove this item... I am referring to the long wire-type antenna mounted on the passenger's side front fender...

I always thought that this looked rather tacky, and was hoping to replace it with a smaller, stubby rubber coated antenna (i've seen this type on many riced-up civics, and it looks great!)....

Would also appreciate it greatly if someone could point me in the right direction, in terms of finding an online source for a suitable replacement antenna (as described above)...

Thanks in advance!

A screwdriver and light tapper. Once you get a half turn on it, it should be finger tight.

A cheap fix for that long antenna would be to snip it off at the desired length and put a big wad of foil over the end. lol
