I floated this a few weeks ago and recieved a unanimous NO when I asked if the B12 ever came with crap handles. Well, I bought a set on ebay. The guy said they came off an 87 4dr. If my car ever gets home, I can mount them. If there is anyone that has a set in their b12, do they mount on the A piller or the roof?

If I'm thinking of the correct part here, my car has an "Oh 'Crap'" handle on the passenger side.. I have an 87 3 door hatchback. It's mounted on the ceiling but I think it'd be pretty nifty on the pillar, no?
hey web what do you care? you should have both hands on the wheel!! So as long as you are in control, and your passangers are on their own... or just tell them to clench there butt cheeks!

I usually drive with my knee. It frees up your hands so that you can f with the stereo or torch a bowl. I need the handles in back to strap dates in. lol
Anyhew, I pulled the molding off the pillar and the roof and did not find any stock mounting holes or nutton. Gonna have to scratch my balls a little longer til I figure somm out. Ball scratching helps blood flow to the brain.
I like the pillar idea.

This is my '87 parts car that i stripped down. Handles where not mounted in this car but i found a B12 at the salvage yard that had them and these are the mounting holes for them. They must have been rare because that's the only B12 I've ever seen with the handles. The holes are not pre-threaded, the type of screw that is used will make it's own threads (kind of like a self tapping screw)but there were no factory A-pillar handles in the B12, just over-head handles.
Kewl, thanks Minute Rice. Those holes are a lot higher than where I was looking with just the molding popped off. I can probly feel holes through the liner... if the damn car was ever home...

I can't remember where i got the midgets but those handles are starting to look pretty good, i might just go pick them up since i got $$$$$$ now but it's like 9000000 degrees(celcius) around here.
