REAR suspension components..pls help

Hi All,

My ride is a '87 B12 2WD Wagon.

My suspension is stock, and I really need to know the components of the REAR "strut & spring" assembly.

These are the components I can think of. Starting from bottom to top.

1. strut
2. spring rubber seating
3. coil spring
4. dust boot
5. spring top rubber seating
6. strut mount bracket
7. strut rubber mount
8. strut mounting case
9. nut

PLease correct me if I am wrong or if components are missing.

Greatly appreciate any comments.

I am almost correct

What are the 1st and 3rd components from the top ?

I know the 2nd component is the strut nut.

1st is a rubber dust cover, 2nd is the nut, 3rd is a washer.

Thanx a lot Myetball for your promt reply.

I was looking for a Haynes manual but they did not have one which supports the E15S engine and the B12 chassis.

It was either E15S & B11 or E16S & B12.

So I think I will have to buy both books.
