my gas pedal seems to be sticking, i think that what it is, it sometimes accelerates by it self with out me pushing the gas and it's not going down hill, i think it could be my tranny, what cables, or linkages should i lube up to prevent it? it really sucks because i have a drivers test on monday

i can only see on on the front of the tranny, i'm almost sertain thats it's the shift cable, i don't think that that would be it, btw it's an auto

check up by the throttle body .it might be gummy.some carb cleaner sould take care of that.. if it not gummy? , like spds up with you foot off the pettle? and check to make sure your floor mat is out of the way , that might do it too
