it kinda a ghetto fix, and youo may not want to do it, but you could take a sawzall, or jig saw and notch it out, or put a nice thick piece of aluminum paper (tin foil) and tape it ther using, that foil tape

You could try using longer and stiffer exhuast hangers. it might just give you the clearance you need.

sorry guys . but since i have the xenon kit with a 4 inch tip, there is only one fix....CUT IT! there is no getting around it. u HAVE to cut it out. i had the guys that installed my muffler cut it out and they did any excellent job. if not then the muffler will just keep melting the urethane until u have the big mess around the tip of ur muffler.

sniff sniff , is that hate i smell? anyways u want to widen the whole opening depending on how big the tip of ur muffler is. by the way, my muffler didnt come from pep boys there, tito. it actually has a nice deep tone to it. no kazoo on steroids here.

i have one that sounds like what average called a 'kazoo on steroids' only before its warmed up. its wierd like that...

what might look good on yoru rear valance, is a nice half circle, something smooth, give your muff a nice hole to wrap its self in

Those things sound like a single prop airplane. Reminds me of my old Pinto when the muffler fell off. Exhaust should only be heard when you want it to be heard.
