Actually, the turbo is the better deal. If you're going to go turbo you won't find an engine with low miles that cheap anywhere else. Clean it up and get another turbo and you're in business.

It all depends on your budget. If you're going turbo you should plan on spending alot more than a nonturbo.

I posted a link the last time that engine was up for sale on ebay. There was alot of discussion about it...found the link check here.

Hmmm, that engine still hasn't sold? Guys, that isn't his only one and I've inspected them and they are worth every penny. If someone decides to buy it, tell the seller that "Dee" referred you and I can promise you that he'll give you the best shipping deal on ebay "Hands down". And the only reason why the engine is so dusty looking because it has been ina Japanese junkyard before it made it here as most JDM engines do. Well and worth it guys!!!!!!!!

well, id go with the CA18DET over sr20det now... someones ^^^^ convinced me that its the best way to go...too bad its got an auto...

of course..am i wrong or do you need axels and stuff from a pulsar to drop in an engine? or are the same b12 parts used?

i have a question tho...how does the guy selling this know the engines got only 50k on it?

I can give you 100 reasons as to why most people who import engines claim this, but none are verifiable and there's not a whole lot of nothing to go off except asking questions about warranty before buying one. I've seen this engine before up close and others like it and I'll assure you that despite it's dusty appearance, the engines internals are clean.

The Pulsar SE is your donor car or purchase new mounts (highly recommended) as well as getting a T25G from an BB SR20DET or something because those turbos are time bombs due to the age of the engine. You would rather change it now while the engine's out then have to change it while the engine's in (Been there and done that and it's not fun).
