Location of PVC valve

I am having trouble locating the PVC valve on my 1990 Sentra. The Chiltons manual points to the valve cover (for my model year), however I am unable to find it in that location. I have checked from the valve cover almost back to the carb and no luck. Usually, the PVC valve comes off either the valve cover or close by. Anyone have any suggestions as to where the PVC valve is located? I did check the VIN and the engine markings to make sure that it was the original engine. TIA

wow, a 90 with a carb? well if so , its almost against the firewall on the intake manifold. if u trace the hose coming from the ds of the valve cover, itll take u right to the pvc. by the way chef, ur b12 SHOULD have a ga16i unless its a canadian model.

Smile RE: Location of PVC Valve

Thanks for the reply, I'll take a look and see. You said WOW about a '90 with a carb. I thought all cars had carbs or do you mean a real carb as opposed to the one with the sensors at the top of the throat?

that would be the throttle body it's bacically the same as a carb but it has one fuel injector sitting it that is controled by the ecu under the passager seat.

On a E16s...it's here.

This should be the same location on the E16i and Ga16i on the intake manifold.
