Question Parts falling off?!???

Hey, i was shoveling the driveway today and i found a small black hose. At first i though it was just the rear window washer hose for the minivan because that hose has fallen off before... except the hose was still attached to the minivan...

Im did a fairly thorough look at the various hoses under the hood of the Sentra and they all seem to be there. Im just wondering if anyone might be able to tell me where this goes. The hose has a diameter of 1.0 cm but has buldged out in 2 places. The actuall hole for the Liquid (?) to travel throguh has a diameter of 0.5cm.

bigger (huge) versions of these pictures are found at my printroom album

yeah, other than the fact that it needs a tuneup and a little bit of rust removal the car is in excellent shape. Its only got 111,000 KM on the clock too. Runs great and all (lol, i sound like im selling it )

The van isnt running so good, but then again it hasnt run well since it blew its first headgasket. Its on its 5th right now and the good old symptoms of a blown gasket are coming back. Im starting to truly believe that 1998 Chrysler 3.3 V6's are lemons as freinds vans have had some simialr problems.

Yah i prolly wont be AIM anytime soon (im one of those MSN Messenger guys).

one more thing, you wouldnt happen to have a spare manual tranny would you?

The only ones I can find that come close to that description... 1 comes off EGR to some wierd vaccum thingy and then a metal line comes back to the EGR on top. 2 are the Vaccum lines on the Passenger side right under the intake. they run to and from the vaccum solenoids mounted there. I dont have an air cleaner or Id check it. ANd yes I do have a Tranny. ALbeit 4spd. and I have a source for more (5spds mainly). Prob being I have to go pull them!
