getting sick of ridicule

why must everyone make fun of my car and the hard work i put into it. What dont they see? My g/f says she does not see why i like it. My mom says she doenst see why i will not let my dad buy me a new car instead of makin this one nice. My dad doesnt see why i put a sound system "that cost more than the car is worth" in the back. My manager thinks it is hilarious that i created such an advanced alarm system for "a piece of trash that no one would break into if their life depended on it. WWWWWWWWWhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

hey does n-e one know how much horse power u will get from the jim wolf cams and ecu with: place racing c.a.i., hot shot headers, cat back, centerforse presure plate and stage three kevlar disk.??

wow!!! i thoguh i was the only who got told alll that stuff. All my friends love the Sentra cuz its the fun car and theres always good times to be had when im rollin in that car... but... my mom wants the car to be sold, my sister calls it the family POS, my dad cant figure out why i put a sound system and did engine work on it.

No one gets it.

The B12 is special to all who own one. B12 Sentras forever!!!

Don't know about all that JW stuff but mine is faster since I put a baked enamel w/clearcoat finish on the valve cover, painted that gay ass baby blue air filter housing black. Probably got the most horsepower out of the silver paint I put on the raised NISSAN letters on the timing cover

Argh, yes. The ridicule can get annoying. We love our cars, is that a crime? My friend wants a early 90's Mazda RX-7 and he and another guy don't see why I love my Pulsar so much. It's my first car, give me a break.

So what if we don't have power window, power locks, digital gauges and the such, heated seats etc.. etc... Our cars run well, they look decent and we can hold our heads high knowing that we don't follow the masses (Honda*).

My dad is sympathetic towards my cause in modding my car. He knows what it was like when he was young and he went through a tonne of cars which he moded himself. So he encourages me to get my hands dirty with my '87, although so far I've only installed new hatch struts, a new headlight (took a bloody hour) and a different radio/cassette deck. More to come later, and why not? I have nothing but praise for my car when it comes down to it, and any problems I have with the car are problems which pop up in all cars.

So don't let the criticizm get to you. Our cars rule.

yeah i get that a lot to with the alarm on it. they keep saying that it is a pos then i rev up the good old cherry bomb and scare the shit out of them

just tell your friend that wants the rex that you'll somke him when his oil injectors clog causing the apex seals to blow an be stuck in the dust. happend to me and my friend

I'm sick of people who know a little less than jack shit about cars tryin to tell me that they're rice cake POS S10 with dubs is faster than my sentra will ever be. For this reason, I'm purposely keeping my baby primer grey with a waterlogged intereior as long as I can stand it...theres no revenge like drivin' a sleeper.

I warn you that primer is NOT waterproof. Through some paint on there or it will rust very quickly.

And my car get's rediculed too, until I autocross it. Then it gets the respect it deserves. This car has been beaten for over 2 year by me, and it takes everything I can throw at it. ***runs outside and hugs car***

I must be one in a few on this board that hasn't gotten riduculed over the b12 I own.
My family and g/f are actually happy with the work I have done and that I have not just run out and bought a 2003 V-Spec!!!
They know me well.
I must visit the Nissan dealer at least once a week....more than a few know me by name.
But I'm keeping my little B12 for a while, it's a great car and it's been real good to me overall....and it's running stronger than ever with 184k on the odometer.
Keep the faith, anyone can have a Honda and most do.

Really? I thought the purpose of primer was to protect against rust (and give the paint somthing to hold on to)...oh well, its ONLY a B11, what have i got to losE?
