Which muffler?

My friend is giving me his 88, or 89 sentra im not sure what year but its a four door for free... He did tell me that it needs a new muffler, and that the underbody is rusting.... Fortunatly i have a mechanic in the family so it will pass inspection...

Anyways, whats a good cheap muffler i can get for the car that is not stock... whats the difference if it is free flow, or catback or, just the muffler.....

This is basically just my daily driver so i dont want a huge muffler, just something that sounds good and adds a few hp... thanks... and a price would be cool... peace

i have a cherry bomb it's loud as hell but it's baffled so you you don't wan't a baffled muffler takes hp away. and it was relativly cheap only $40 cdn. glass packs always sound good. and it backfires and shoots flames nicely for an auto so my friends tell me. just DON'T buy a baffled muffler go for the perforated type.

I was cheap and went with a OE replacement muffler. Cant go wrong for $60 installed.
Anyway, here is some info that could point you in the right direction.
