I am in the middle of replacing the timing belt on an 87 Sentra with the carbed 1.6. I tore the car apart two weeks ago and found I had a cracked head. While I was waiting for the head to come back, someone sticky finger some tools from my garage and I think they got a few part to the Sentra also. I think I am missing what is referenced to in the Hayne s repair manual as the timing belt guide. If I rember correctly There was a cup shaped "washer" that fit on the crank snout between the balancer pulley and the timing belt crank sprocket. If anyone has an exploded view from a nissan service manual that would be of great help. If anyone knows the part number of the part I am talking about that would be cool. If there is no such part, I blame it on the paranoia of having something stolen out of my garage. It was nothing big, just a few hand tools. Thanks for the help.
