Ga16i dying! need help about swap to GA15de

I got a question for you guys. i had been reading about swaps to CA18, GA16de, sr20de and many others. but now i can have this engine for a good price.

Here in Guatemala, we need to buy the engines to a local engine import shop. and here a GA16DE twincam with EFI system costs about US$850.00 without tranny, without ECU. I think its too expensive for a SWAP.

but i receive a call for this guys and tell me that they are selling a JDM GA15DE twincam with tbi system for US$500.00 with ECU. without tranny.

ok my question is this.

i know that swapping to a GA16de requires a rewiring process that can be a PITA.

but the GA15DE that they are selling to me its in good shape too. and has a TBI system like my GA16i. i am wondering if this swap it's more easier than the 16de swap? and as far as i know the hp's doesn't change too much comparing to my GA16i

GA16i 95hp / 96 lb/ft
JDM GA15de 105hp / 99 lb/ft

will my tranny fit to this engine?
will i need to rewire the harness?

i realise the ga16 g-boxes could fit the e15, so maybe it's possible. might need confirmation
