speedracer19832001 NissanForums Newbie Join Date: Feb 2007 Posts: 5	sport coupe tranny problem i have an 88 sport coupe it pops out of fifth gear i have replaced both front and rear motor mountsand im trying to figure out if its the shift linkage or the tranny itself

smj999smj Nissan Addict Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Prospect, VA Posts: 869	It's probably the shift fork inside the tranny; it was a fairly common problem. There may even be a TSB on it.
