Can i use the stock ca18de ECU with a swapped ca18det?? (n13 88'NX)

I can find any actual wiring diagrams on how to wire the ca18det ecu to the ca18de harness. Cant you just piggyback the stock ca18de ecu with an safcII?

I dont even know how involved the wiring is aside from the missing 02 sensor wire that you end up with-with the swap.. I read the whole article... http://www.ctech.ca/Martin/CA18DET%20conversion.pdf

That seems to be a real crappy ca18det swap bible.

More info on this swap would be great. Im dieing to have another compact turbo sports car 2 toy with, my 1jz swapped supra dosent make a very good daily driver anymore. and my 88 nx is not what im looking for power-wise

Don't screw with the CA18DE's ecu on the CA18DET or you'll live to regret it. The CA18DE's ecu will cause detonation throughout the rpm which will quickly lead to piston failure via the ringlands and/or possibly meltage (Not a real word, but you get the point) which will cost you a good motor. If you wanna try and wire in a sylvia or bluebird ecu, you'll need the plue plug that come's with the ecu, and injector resistor box, and an FSM for the sylvia as well as the pulsar's bible "Chilton manual". These should help you achieve the goal you seek.........
