I WOULD STICK W/ STOCK TO THE CAT. PUT ON A HI FLO CAT AND CAT-BACK EXAUST.

How much would a good quality high flow cat run me, and would the performance between the stock cat and a 2" flow through be much different?

why though? The majority of the restrcition in the Sentra exhaust is in 2 places. The tiny, tiny, tiny, stock exhaust header and the cat. If your on a budget get the header, cat, and muffler with the stock piping. It will be much better than what you have now.

this is trrue but i forgot to mention on my other posts was you need to extend the EGR tube
like 1.5-2.0 inchs to make it fit on the headder. its metel and if you try to bend it to hard it will crack.

easy, go down to your nearest muffler shop and tell them that you need your EGR tube extended.
its that easy.it sholdnt cost more than $20. But
if you ever take off the header you need to get a new EGR tube. That costs like $35.00 and has to
come from japan.

Do you or anyone else sudgest a better header for a carburated B12. Is Pacesetter the only company that produces a header that fits this car?

The pacesetter exhaust mentioned in the first post has been confusing me for a while. I went to the pacesetter site and they had a table that listed this kit with an R in one of the columns meaning that this kit was the "rear section only". They have other kits marked with a C for Cat-back exhuast kits. Has anyone actually bought this kit and is it really from the Cat-Back or is it just a rear section with a muffler? Also, will it fit on my '89 4dr sentra model? Thanks for the input, I had a backfire which blew one of the seams out of my 13 year old muffler, so I am starting to look for an easy replacement that I can do myself (no welding). Thanks for your input.
