B12 front coil springs

Hello all. Just wondering whether anyone knows of a source for oem front coils for an 87 sport coupe. I've tried just about every place I can think of. Would springs from a B13 fit? Im not really interested in lowering, or any performance stuff. I would greatly appreciate any advice.

B-13 stuff will fit. Actually Everything made for the front of a B-13 works on a B-12. Some of the rear works too. Unfortunatly Ive MOLESTED all of my stock springs or Id give them to you. If youve got a NAPA nearby check them out. I know that I can get ALOT of OEM springs at the store I work at...

I´ve got plenty of coils for the B12, just for info because shipping will be expensive.

Do the stock springs usually wear out over time or is it mostly just the struts? My 90 with 161K on it when driving around 75-80 and going thru long sweeping turns seems like the drivers front bounces up and down slightly.

most of that is the shocks rebound can't comp. for the spring. so the shock will wear out over time due to lots of use.

KYB GR2's. Don't settle for the cheap Monroes. The KYB's are worth the extra cost.

Can I use the KYB's with lowering coils?

Yes you can! My Trans Am actually rode and handled better when it was lowered with the KYB's than it was with just the KYB's. It seemed like it dampened much better.

Should, those are rather narrow tires, but something tells me with 155 (175 being optional) being to stock tire width, the 195's may not. The only difference is 40mm in width. The lowering coils are only what, 1.5 inch?

shouldn't be too much, i think B12's in stock form have like 2.5-3.0 inches of fender gap, and I don't think the inner fender well is too close to cause a rubbing problem. If it does, just take a slightly smaller turning radius. I lowered my TA 4 inches front, 3.5 rear. The fronts litterally tucked in the fender, and even with a 255 tire, it never rubbed since i added a little more camber. (kinda apples to oranges i know)

Where do you live? Got a set of complete front struts that look pretty recent on my '87 parts car, that I cant use. do you need axles? You can have them all if you want.
