Puh, i´m not sure if i understood everything right, in fact i understood nearly nothing you said !?
The B12 is a rare car in Europe, in Germany there are still a few hundreds, depending on exact modell type. My Gti shown above is one of 400 still running.
I know somebody who´s nickname is tom, in fact he was very helpfull developing our forums logo at www.jcc-club.de . Perhaps it´s the same, i don´t know.

My Knowledge of Car-Parts in english language is nearly to zero until yet, perhaps i´ll learn a few things here.
So, if i´m right, and you mean car parts, could you explain it to me in VERY normal words ?

clear marker lights for the coupe.(Markierung Lichter für das coupe) you will get the point.

Clear marker lights? the lights next to the main headlight ?
Or the normally yellow flashing lights (front, and frontside) ?
@Redcoupe english is not that problem, just the name of car parts i´ve never learned especially. Within normal conversation you´ll never never need them ;-)
You haven´t turning lights on the front sides, but integrated in the "marker lights" (hope that name is correct).
By changing your corner lights to europe style, you would loose the second pair turning lights. Our corner lights aren´t just clear, in fact there is no turning light integrated !
That e16i engine is not bad, acceleration on low revs is in fact a little better than the gti´s, gti ca engine works only good on high revs. but in USA you would probably have to use the second gear to use it´s power at 40-50 mph...
