Spitting and popping

When Im easy with my 89 she just purrs right along but when I get this beast a going she wants to spit sputter and pop. Just making sure...could this be my spark wires or could it be in other parts of the ignition? Fuel filter is brand new.

Runs good low end, and bad high end.....
Sounds like timing issue.

could be wires, spray em down and find out.

Also check heat range on spark plugs.

Sorry,
I ment ignition timing / Electrical issue
Possably too far advanced IGN timing?
spark plugs, wires, distributer cap, rotor?
Though most of the time bad plugs, wires, ECT will have a doggish low end, and almost normal high end.
Another thought...
I also had a flat exhaust lobe on my cam do the same thing, normal power at low throttle, and if you get on it, it just popped out the TBI.
You can easily check it with a vacuume gauge, or pull the lifter cover.

If its a flat exhaust lobe then im gonna have to buy my head back from astreamk haha. Since the motor is JDM I dont think the lobe is flattened. I think its the wires because I used the wires that came with the motor. I know I have the right plugs because they are the same NGKs I have been buying for it. So im going on a electrical or plug wire problem.
