pulsar parts in b12

do the pulsar seats fit in a b12? i've seen it done but does it bolt right in? i found a pulsar with the ca18de and they said they'll sell me the whole car for $350. is this a good deal because i'm intersested in putting everything i can into my b12? maybe even the engine.

If the engine is good that sounds like a good deal...I'm pretty sure the seats will go right in, and you can use the nicer steering wheel too!!

ant , if i were u .....well if it was me with all the problems that ive been having with the old e16s , i would jump on it . and i believe the pulsar came with the same seats that come in the 88 se so they should go right in. the ca would definetly be a better engine.......

Boostboy is running a CA18DET in his Sentra and it has been very good for him. Do the swap and take all the good parts from the Pulsar. eg. seats, wheels, steering wheel, front/rear swaybars, brakes

Personally I'd keep the seats in your sports coupe. They are the best investment I ever made for my b12. But if you must the pulsar seats will botl right in.

I would definately jump on that pulsar for 350 bucks. Get the entire car to do the swap. It will make the swap go so much easier.

good luck...

(havent forgotten about the brakes sorry!)

$350 is an excellent deal! If the engine isn't running, still get it! You will have all the components needed to do a CA swap. I would buy new mounts because more than likely those mounts are torn/worn. Strip it, bro! No wires should be left in the engine compartment nor behind the dash. If you don't take the pulsar's body harness, you're in for a trip to wiring-Hell and that my friend is no doubt. The CA18DE is a great engine with it's 10:1 compression and high-revvin characteristics you should have some fun. Good luck

to hybrid i don't have the sports coupe. sorry for the confusion. my car is just like yours except it's a 4 door.

i am considering buying the whole car the only problem i have is having somewhere to put it. i'm only 19 and still in college and my parents might not go for a broke car in the yard but if i find a spot i'll get it.

i think i know the answer to this but i'll go on and ask. at the same junk yard there was the pulsar with the e15t. which one should i get?

mmm.....turbo!!! That sounds cool! Too bad that car is as old as me and that would make my worry about the solidity of the turbo and the rest of the engine for that matter.

nope. still holding them for you. Just havent been home to SD to get the shipping cost since we last talked.

Wow, you found an e-15t pulsar in a junkyard? I have never seen an e-15t powered pulsar in tact before. Honestly though, I would go for the ca18de. It produces more power stock and has far greater potential.

I went through the same thing with my parents... back in the day. I would buy the car and strip all the necessities out and then get rid of it. Buy yourself a small plastic storage bin at home depot and keep your parts in there. Then your parents wont mind so much....

i heard the sway bars and all that will also fit my car can anyone confirm that?

Front sway bar will fit, but more than likely you will need new bushings. And for a quick brake upgrade, take the pulsar's front calipers, brackets and brakelines.

i just succesfully installed pulsar seats in my car. the only problem is that they lean a little bit but that can be fixed with some washers or something like that. next step is the sway bars and brakes. i don't know if the engine is any good though. if it is i might get it too. the guy said $300 so we'll see

will the pulsars front brakes (rotors) bolt right on my b12? or are the calipers and pads needed?
