New Antenna: would it be dumb?

Hey we just moved to Calgary and as I was unpacking a box for the furnace room i came across a box of car parts that went on our 1986 Subaru GL that ended up in a wreck in 1990 (thats why we got the Sentra). Anyway, among these parts was a replacement antenna. Its one of those ones that goes up and down (but not automatically, you have to pull it up and push it down youself).

Would it be cool to install this at all? How hard is it to swap out your antenna?

-Nick

I have a b14 and most people just screw in a shorty rubber antenna, but in this case, you need to open up the fender (or whereever it goes in a b11-b12) for an antenna like that, probably not worth it to take the car panels off, if you went electric, than it would make more sense.

Just take a small wrench and unscrew the aerial. I'm not sure if the Subaru aerial is the same size but you could always try.

no, you can't just unscrew it. the kind he wants pushes down. the one on there now is solid so it's not just the aerial, but the whole gizmo.
