I drove my 1987 Nissan Sentra to school today and it wouldnt shut off!! It's not diesling (or chugging); the engine runs strong, like the key is still in it. HELP!!
There might be an electrical short in your ignition switch. How did you shut the car off??

sheck the ign switch. were you able to restart it after you finally got it to stop (assuming you didn't keep it running all day). I had a minivan once where the starter didn't disengauge (even with the key out) it was like leaving the key in the START position.
