I need help with the wiring of the turn signal lights on my b12 ga16de swap.
I have got the wires for the turn signals wired but when i try themn it does not work. am i missing a wire? I can hot wire the lights and it comes on...the guage light come on and he outside light come on but when i hit the lever nothing happenes. Anybody have any ideas?

Check your grounds. If you can hotwire the lights and they work, your probably missing a ground on the lighting somewhere. Also check your fuses and fusible links, perhaps you popped something with the hotwire.
I have the same problem with turn signals... they do not work. Do your headlights, running lights, and brake lights work like mine? When I figure out the problem, I shall tell you what to do to fix it.

yeah all mine work but the turn signals. still have not figured it out. anyone have any advice?

Okay... my turn signals work now. For the gauge cluster and air conditioning controls, make sure the "light adjustment" switch is plugged into the harness. For the turn signals, make sure your "emergency flashers" switch is plugged in as well... as long as you did not pull off the factory gauge harness, it should all still work. Your fuel gauge should work as well... well, at least mine does.

I never put the emergency flasher button back on!!!
I plug it in and guess what?? I have signal lights. Now that i think about it, it makes sence.

My 2nd swap is the '89 with the ga16de swapped.

Newport is in Cocke Co. A pretty fair piece of driving.
Yahoo says 227.5 miles and 4 hours and 26 mins.
A good idea, but not with gas prices the way they are.

I currently have a Cardomain profile for mine... but it does not show interior or much of the exterior. I am still in the process of buttoning up all the wiring and such.
Yeah... I remember where Newport is now... right on the Tennessee side of the Smokeys. We used to stop there to spend the night coming back from NC. I have not been over there in about three or four years now.
