Body Ground Location, URGENT

on the front crossmember, there is a body ground connected. u can see it when u open the hood n look down on the top of the crossmember. what i need to know is:

where the small ground wire on the crossmember terminates on the motor.

any help is appreciated. i am putting my 5sp swap back together, and this is kinda holding me up

If it is the one I am thinking of, it terminates on the exhaust manifold. The one on both of my cars rusted off. If you look at the bolts holding the heat shield on the manifold, you can probably still see the ring terminal there.

I replaced mine with a standard braided ground wire and it has been fine.

You can place the body ground almost anywhere that you want. Any unpainted bit of metal thats on the car frame will complete and enectrical circuit.
