In a few weeks I will be going home on some leave and need to replace the rear struts and springs on my 87 Sport coupe it dose nto carry large loads on a regular basis (I got a lighter girlfriend) I am just wondering who still makes good aftermarket set ups for these cars I want to lower it about an inch just to hug my 15 60 series tires alittle. I am cool with either a strut spring set up or an adjustable coilover set up I would like any info and feed back you guys have on the matter. I plan on a CA18DET in the next year so I want something that will still be useable with that. Thanks
I did research last night and came acrost some but I really want some feed back from ppl who have used this stuff to see what they think of it I am looking at around 700 for springs and struts I do not want to get something that leaves me wishing for more know what I am saying. Also is the rear struts the same on the sport coupe and the sedans ie can I do the B13 swap like you can on a sedan.

when u are back from leave, come up to seattle and drive my car. im doing GC coilover kit w/AGX's and CA18DE sways...
o and the big NX2k brakes as well
might take you up on that either this time or in november I may not get to do the install this time I have been given a shit load of stuff to do not to mention some backwater inbred jerk broke into my sentra and jacked my Sony headunit so I have to rewire the mirrors and sterio and then fix the stuff he broke if I get lucky enough to catch him I will let my sentra get revenge by running his ass down then over. I hate people who can't leave other peoples cars alone I worked to buy that and so should they.
The NX2K brakes do they bolt up to our front ends and can I use my current hub(bearing) or will I need the 2ks also is this bigger than the pulsar brake upgrade cause that is on my list to and then EDM or JDM sunny rear discs just cause I want to be difficult.
hey well to prove that my life is unscripted I found out that I will indeed be installing springs and struts on my Sensar so I looked online at Ebay and I found some stuff I posted links to them let me know what you think I know of each company Eibach makes good Quality stuff and KYB is not new and I have used there stuff before I think I am going to buy them as soon as my girl sticks the money in the account unless you guys have bad feedback on them.
if you get a chance, go over to the suspension/brakes page and read the sticky on the GR2's. I think they are thought to be more of an OEM type replacement strut and not really valved to handle aftermarket performance springs.
as for the Eibach springs, Nismo actually offered them at one point for the B12's.
I am running the Tokico HP's which I have heard are discontinued for our car, but have not confirmed ? I like them. they are not bad for a daily driver and respond well when pushed hard. the sprint springs are not overly harsh driving and will offer a bit of roll until pushed hard and then the progressive rate takes over and the car holds very well.
If you switch to the AGX's for the B13, the will bolt up to your car, but you will most likely have a little work to do with the brake hose mounts as they are slightly different. there was a guy on here not long ago running a set of AGX's from a B13 andit appeared as though the unused front hose mounts were tearing up his brake hoses on turns, so something you may want to look out for.
I would suggest getting yourself the KN13 Pulsar SE swaybars whiule you are at it. they are bigger than your coupes and should offer a nice result for your investment. I know several here have converted and had good results.

i agree. i havent tested my bars yet, but im pretty sure they will make a profound difference. itll be compounded by the new susp too

the KN13 bar is in the future, right now however I have to do maintence on the car in the form of replacing the struts and rear springs so I figured what the hell I will blow a few more hundred and get what I want. As for the B13 front struts you have to run B13 brakelines they are the same length but the mounting points will match. and you need the B13 top hat I am planning on running B13 struts anyway where can I get the AGX's at a decent price I think I found some for like 400 that seems a little high. Thanks for the feedback I think I will steer clear of the GR-2s also I noticed on Eibachs homepage that they sell struts in a package any idea how good they are?
Ok Gr-2s sound like unsound investment and the AGX's are just out of my reach and my girls understanding ha ha so how about these Tokico blues are they any good I have heard a little both ways I know that they are not adjustable as the AGX's are but it is almost a 100 less just trying to get this all figured out soon so I can have it all waiting oh and I am going with Eibach pro-kit springs my girl can get them at discount through her job for like 175 and there is no shipping so that is good also I do not want huge drop just a little. So opinions Tokico Blues or KYB AGX's

Just proof that searching helps I answered my own ?'s with time
I've had mine on for over a year with no complaints. for the cost, I don't think you can go wrong. I am running a 2 inch drop and have had no problems bottoming out or any undesirable handling effects. I think that Popkorn may have the Blues on his coupe too ?
that link is the same guy I bought my struts from. He was very good to deal with and shipped them off quick.
