Question Pathfinder Phatnoise phatbox/mp3 player available???

Hey all.....just wondering if anyone knows of an add-on mp3 player that's compatible with a 2001 Pathfinder LE w/bose and 6 disc in dash cd? I know the VW's and Audi's have whats called Phatnoise but I haven't found anything for my truck yet? Thanks!

You can order a Kenwood music keg (which is the phatnoise liscensed to Kenwood) and you can control it with either a kenwood deck or through a remote control. However, I would STRONGLY recommend something else. I ordered a 10gig model from crutchfield (surprisingly, the cheapest) and they sent me a double order. I had problems with BOTH kegs. The phatnoise tech support was no help. I sent them back to kenwood and got one fixed, the other was still messed up when it came back. The mp3 decoders are TERRIBLE! I cannot stress this enough, the decoding they do is absolutely the worst I have ever heard. At first I thought it was the mp3's, but when I play them on my computer or convert them to a cd with wave files they play fine. The keg just sucks. Look elsewhere, if I could do it over again I would have saved my money.

I called Phat and had inquired with them on an mp3 player for my Pathy but they admitted they were having mega problems getting them to work. Thanks for the heads up on the keg. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
