Coming up short on antennas

I'm not sure if this has already been discussed many times before but I can't seem to find any old posts.

I'm thinking of changing my stock antenna to something a lot shorter. Like most SUVs, my Pathfinder has a radio antenna that sticks up from the front fender. I think most Sentras have the same set up too. IMHO, I think it's an eyesore. I thought that I would be able to use the ones from the 350z, but the "screw" was just too short to connect onto the base in my PF. I've seen the ones sold at Ebay, but I'm not sure if they'll fit for my application.

I listen to CD's most of the time so I wouldn't mind losing some radio reception by switching to the short stubby ones. Has anyone did a swap on their Pathfinders, Xterras or Sentras before? Any recommendations??

Anyhelp would be greatly appreciated...
