Replacing Stock Subwoofer in an '02 Spec

I have a 2002 Spec-v with the factory subwoofer and amplifier in the trunk. I have a 12 inch Boston with an alpine amp from my old car that I would like to put in my new car. Is there anyway to use the original wiring from the factory sub and amp and just run it to the amp and sub that I just have laying around? Or do I have to run whole new wiring such as, RCA cables, power cable, remote wire, and all new speaker wires???

Pretty positive you have to replace the RCAs, remote and all that fun. I did it in my 04 spec. If you have the stock HU you also have to get a LOC. See the replacing Sub and Amp bible Here

The best how to info is towards the end...SR20Demon went through it step by step with me.

Also...FYI you can't get rid of the stock amp because it powers your rear speakers.
