I Need a Alterntor & Questions.

I need a new Alternator for my B13 Coupe. I have called every part store in my area and they only have 70A available.

I am using 2 PG car audio amps(500w/rms total) should I get a higher amperage Alternator. Any ideas where I could find one?

If I can only find a 70A rebuild which brand should I buy, BOSCH?

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, If anyone is selling one please let me know. My car is a Mexican Made B13 XE Coupe with a 1.6L, 5 speed w/NO AIR

I don't think you'll need a higher amp alternator.

nice...but if you get a more powerful alternator you loose hp, and sometimes its actually quite noticable...especialy with a 1.6l. either way, if you have a really bumpin system you'll probably be going through alty's every year. my brother's 'teg does that.

Hitachi is great I wouldn't buy any other brand unless I can't find one. My friend had a 100A in his Chevy Suburban and he had 4 360W amps ... each pushing 4 dual 12" subs and he had smaller amps for front speakers and then later he installed speakers in the rear doors. I think he had about 16 speakers in that car. He wanted to install more but he said he ran out of space.
