Replacing Stock Speaker Wires for 96 200sx

Can someone help walk me through how I would replace the speaker wires in the side panel of my door? I took off the panel and removed all the trim but I'm not sure where the wire leads. I don't konw how to remove or replace it.

I wanted to try to replace the whole wire but I guess you're right. I tried to remove it again today but it was to hard. I don't know what to do now. I still want to use my stock speakers and I don't want to spend a lot of money. What kind of wire do I need? If I used 16 gauge wire what else to I need to make the connections to the speaker and stereo?

Well you would need at least some crimp style connectors to mate the 16 ga wire to the stock speaker terminal connector. Most stock terminal connectors are not like your average spade terminal types (like the ones found on most aftermarket speakers). But what would you consider "a lot of money"? Since you are already into the door panel, it would be easy to just drop in some upgrades. Stock speakers really are not audio friendly, in fact, they down right suck ass. If you shop around you could easily find some great deals on a component set or even some decent coaxial speakers that will offer you great sound.
