Interior mod question

Has anyone put speakers in their rear doors? I'm considering going to a junkyard and getting those little pockets found on the front door panels and molding them onto the rears so I can add a bit more sound.

I don't know if that would be tacky or not though, which is why I'm turning to you fellow members.

Well the bad part of that is, the sound from the speakers isnt focused evry well. Kinda like the front door speakers firing into your legs.
What do you have for front, and rear deck speakers?

These are what I have front and rear. They make my ears ring....lol For the sound quality/ price range they are great. Im not a big fan of cutting holes in my interior for component speakers. Dont get me wrong components sound great, just not for me.

Take the money that you would spend on rear speakers, new door panels, an amp for those rear speakers, etc...and put it towards better front speakers instead. You'll thank yourself in the end

Are they the 3 way Pioneers? If so I have them as my rears and used to have the 4 way version for the front...excellent speaker for the price. Good quality, holds high volume rather well, durable, and very competetive pricing.

Thanks for the replies. Currently I have pioneers (forget which types) from my old car and my brother's old rear deck speakers (also Pioneer).

I was thinking about this mod not so much for more sound quality- since I plan on upgrading around spring, but moreso for the hell of it. There's definitely more I would do besides adding speakers but I'll refrain from stating what or else hear that R.I.C.E. term
