Ok i have a question, I have a amp 1200 watts and when i hook it up the red light comes on and under it, it says Diagnostic????.
But i also think my wires are not for 1200 watt amps but im not sure if they could be the problem my wires maybe for like 600 to 800 but. what do you think?
its probably 1200 watts peak power, meaning that you are getting 250-300 watts RMS to each channel at the lowest impedence. I would have four gauge, but 8 gauge is fine
No, I don't believe when i hook it up the red light automatically comes on and i can hear the fan turn on. But theres also a green light above it says power and it doesn't come on but i can hook other amps up.
Maybe the resistance is too low. Check the speaker wiring.
What amp is it? How many channels? watts/ohms per channel? What speakers?
I can only think of so many things:
Overheating
input Voltage too low/high
no RCA signal
speakers are wired wrong
resistance is too low
internal fuse blown
no 'remote' signal to actually turn the amp on
Amp needs to be repaired.

Well i checked all the fuses made sure its set up right and checked wires all i can think is that its shot because i dont think i can take it to be repaired if so i dont know where. And i dont think its overheating because once i turn it on red light comes on and the fans come on..
