Someone help me with upgrading my system?

Okay guys..... I only been in this audio thing for a year or so now. My current system consist of 4 eXcelon 6 1/2"s, 03 model fosgate MP3 head unit, all fosgate wiring, and two fosgate 03 model 10"s... they're 300wts RMS can't remember what models they are. I have them bridged to a fosgate 300wt amp. I'm wanting to upgrade my subs and my amp.... I don't really understand very much about ohms and stuff like that... and when I upgrade I'd like to get some serious good quality sound. I want to STICK WITH FOSGATE (HUGE FAN!). Also if any of you guys could hook me up with some links to some sites that explain more technical audio stuff like ohms and what goes good with what and all that'd be awesome because I'd really like to learn more about this stuff. I didn't think I'd really get into it when I bought my system but I guess I was wrong =P

So, you're saying fosgate just doesn't perform as they should? What should I go with then? I'm just really impressed at how hard my 10's hit... and only with that 300wt amp, they hit harder than alot of peep's 12"s around my area. And with the fosgate amp... I have the punch feature and I think the entire system works well together. I could be wrong though. I've heard alot of systems... alot of high dollar systems, and the only thing I find my system lacks is just clarity... I got bass out the ass but the clarity is rather low but I hope hooking an amp to my eXcelon's will take care of that. I could be wrong. Give me your advice please.

That describes RF right there, they can get very loud but they don't have good SQ at all (especially the HX2). If you want sound quality then there are a lot of companies you can check out, you probably haven't heard of any of them though.

Elemental Designs (I have the 12A, louder than any pair of 10's, 12's, etc I've ever heard, including my friend's 2 jl 12w3 on a 500/1, and it has crazy SQ)
Adire Audio
Resonant Engineering
Image Dynamics
Stereo Integrity
and a couple others that I can't remember right now

Other companies will offer similar products to these, but for nearly twice the cost (read: JL, Alpine, etc)
