stereo problems

well i got a 94 ram 1500 from my dad and the radio was working fine. then one day i started the truck and the radio didnt work. now it will occasionally come one but there is no sound and i cant change anything station volume(if there was any) etc. the tape player doesnt work either. help please i would like to have a stereo when i sell it to get the 200sx

Thats incredibly general dude...If I were you Id sell it with a broken stereo and jus buy a new good one for the 200.

well, check all the wiring first. Make sure nothing is corroded or shorted. If there are any points that look questionable, cut them off, get more wire and crimp and solder it. If that still doesnt work, then it may be an internal problem.

I would just sell it with the broken radio, chances are if the person is like me, they will be driving with the radio off to see if i hear any noise that shouldnt be happening. Dont advertise the broken radio, but if the person asks, do not lie to them.
