Big 3 wires

have any of you replaced/upgraded the Big 3 wires? meaning the + from battery to alt, - battery to ground, and - engine block to ground.

i've heard lots from lots of sources that this is a very cheap and useful mod to do to get more efficient power for high watt systems. but i'm not really sure how to do this, and i don't know where our engine block to ground wire is.

anyone know anything? i tried searching, but it doesnt seem like anyone has talked about this on this forum. i have a Ga16de btw.

I upgraded my wires last weekend. Haven't noticed a difference, might when I turn on the AC, but haven't done it yet. Just haven't connected the alt to batt yet, have to buy a new + batt terminal first. Runnin 0 ga wire throughout. I just ran the stock ground from battery and engine to ground, then ADDED a second ground of 2 ga wire, so that should be plenty. I'm gonna run an EXTRA 2 ga wire from alt to battery also. Not replacin the old wires, just addin to em.
