Question Audio Tunning

Hey Guys,

This is my setup:
-Pioneer DEH-6800P Head Unit
-Infinity Kappa Components (front 6.5")
-Infinity Kappa 2-Ways (rear 6.5")
-Rockford Fosgate P3SD104 Sub (dual coil, 4ohm)
-Rockford Fosgate Power1000 Amp

How do I tune my system so that I can use all of the features - eq bands - off my HU and not just have 1 setting? You know what I mean? Like if you had a stock system and only changed the HU, you'd be able to hear the difference when switching through the EQ bands. Now with my new setup, I can't get any base off the FM bands, my HU was tunned under a custom EQ band, and the bass was placed at 0. So with my MP3s, the sounds are all different, some high, some low, some with bass, some without... it's really pissing my off. Can someone please tell me how to fix it?

Also, I though the ground problem was fixed but it's not. When the bare cable (0 gauge) is in contact with a bare bolt, there's no whinning through the system, but after I clamped the cable and placed it around the bolt, then fastened it, I get this irratible whinning throughout my system.

Please Help.
