nissan d21 pickup

hey i have a 93 shortbed pickup. i just put a 760watt pioneer amp and 600 watt 10" sub in, i listen to music with alot of bass in it. recently ive noticed that my battery dies alot. it is fairly new and i had it as well as the altenator tested at autozone. they both passed their tests. im wondering if a cap would help me out in this situation. if i turn the stereo up alot and let the car idle it hovers around 14.3 volts and slow drops, 14.29, and back to 14.3 back and forth slowly losing voltage maybe a tenth volt every 2 minutes. but when i turn on the lights, and wipers , my voltage drops to around 11. basically im wondering if im driving around with just the stereo on loud , and the headlights + wipers, would a cap help me out?

Cap would help... Do you have a direct line from your batt to your amp?

yes i do , there is a 40 amp fuse on it as well, im pretty much assuming that, my battery kept dieing from a result me driving around in constant stop and go traffic with the heater, wipers , fog lights and headlights on , and on top of that the 800 watt sub. i noticed that when im just driving around with just the sub and amp on, i have no problems

you could just get a new battery an run two batterys just run the second fromyour alternater an you wont have to worry about your car dying as it wont be pullin power from the battery that would be runni your car and a cap would help out alot
