Stereo help

I was recently testing a headunit out in my 2000 GXE and I connected everything back up again and it didn't even power on. The headunit its self is good I tested it using a different power source. I have just checked the fuses in the panel under the steering and everything looks good from what I can see. What else could be the problem? I have all the wires connected the right way and good connections.

Does anybody know what could be the problem?

Thank you for your time,

Darren

Does the unit have an amp that requires the power lead to hook up to the battery ?
Do you have a good ground connection ?
Check the fuse labeled -radio

Yes I have a good ground connection, no it doesn't require a power lead hooked up to the battery. I have checked the radio fuse and it still looks good. If you are meaning the one in the fuse box under the steering wheel. I have read some stuff on Nissan and so I am going to check the fusible links by the battery and see if any of those are melted. Anything else do you think it could be?

Thanks for the respons, I'm at a loss on what to do

If you have power to all other accessories then it would not be the main "batt" link
that is blown. So I also would be at a loss now. Is your ground connection on bare-
not painted- metal ?
