In life there comes a time where one chapter ends and another begins. For us the timing was right to close our chapter with nissanforums.com when we began negotiations with Modified Mag. We’ve been working with them to make the transition as easy and painless as possible. This is not a big corporate takeover; the company that bought the site is small and filled with enthusiasts like us. They want the best site for you like we do.
The transition is almost finished and as you can see the site is back up with the old look. The reason is to give everyone what they want, their online home. I’m sure with a little bit of time the site will be running like a well oiled machine. All parties involved with the transition want to give you the best user experience possible.
I was scared there for a while. I'm glad to see the site up and running as it is a great tool for many a people (and I only frequent the cosmetic/altima forums). I hope that everything continues as it has since I've joined because its been a great help to me also.

I liked it here that they tried to have all the models of nissan, since us oldskool people have to adapt parts from other vehicles that I could ask someone who had the car.

Personally I'll just keep the drama off the board. Let's all wait and see what happens? As far as I know, things have not changed except for the ownership.

The new server is up with a dual core CPU and the latest version of vbulletin. Sorry about all the stability issues of late but the site should now be stable for quite some time. Scott did an awesome job!
Like they say, with new owners come new changes. I hope this isn't the case with this new company. It always start with "Everything will remain the same" at the beginning. After the dust settles, the changes are slowly but surely introduced. I really like this forum. I have sold and purchased lots of items on here. I found lots of VALUABLE information on this forum that I couldn't find on the other forum for Nissans. It's good to have more than one source for information.
