First of all, we would like to apologize to all of the NissanForums.com community.
Over the weekend, we planned to migrate many sites into the AutoForums.com platform. This was a poorly thought-out plan, and one which caused some obvious confusion, and a number of upset members.
Our number one goal in taking the reigns for NissanForums.com was to build the community. We have adjusted our strategy, and realized the best way to do this is through its existing platform, users, moderators and administrators. All future changes will be brought forward from this group - the mods and admins.
We have returned NissanForums.com to its original structure and will be working with the mods and admins moving forward. They will be the ones to lead changes that are requested by the userbase. We will be a silent partner in your community.
We are an enthusiast company - we all love cars as much as you do. It was a painful experience this weekend, and you have my word personally that you will not have to endure this again. This is your community, and we appreciate your loyalty.
Let's write this weekend off to a 'bad experience' and start fresh this week with continuing to make NissanForums.com the best that it can be within its current platform.
Glad it's back. I use NF as an escape to not have to listen to teh wife bitch at me. All weekend I had to help her clean up and watch all her stupid-ass shows on TV with her. Now that it's back, I can relax. Someone is going to have to pay for causing me to have a bad weekend...

It's good to be back! I was extremely upset this weekend when this Forum disappeared and even more upset when it appeared it have been kidnapped by a giant conglomerant and just tossed into megala-web-pit with every other make and model vehicle on the road! Nissan is a unique Company and the owners and members of this forum are proud of that and want to be an independent community, not just another piece of crap in a compost pile! I'm glad we're here to stay!

Thanks for bringing it back to how it was. I may not post here much, but I read here all the time; it's a very valuable source of information for any Nissan owner. The switch was certainly a bad idea. Not to mention the awful load times on the other site.
But, I'm glad its back, and that it's here to stay. Thanks.

Thank God, this is how it's suppose to be! Nothing needs to be changed we all enjoy our forum!
so, i have a question, how long until nf is polluted with ads like autoforums? and why haven't you mentioned it through an announcement that nissanforums is no longer owned and operated through npm, why haven't you made anything public? you're hiding a lot, and i demand some answers as to why this all took place. right now, all it seems, is you're going to start spamming this forum with crap from your sponsors, where nf was built around a REAL nissan community, not some crap that you want to throw in here for the fun of it.

We will definetly not be spamming it at all. We are keeping the same current design of NissanForums.com
Any revenues that we do generate from the site will be poured back into the site to make it better, based on the recommendations of our admins and moderators.
