Lets talk for a second. First of all why don't you tell us a little about the company you represent. Before I start sending any money anywhere I, and everyone else, would like to know some details.

First of all, this forum is a community. Without its members there is no forum, it is simply frames of empty information. So it would seem deception and lies will get no one anywhere.

Second. As a web designer I decoded www.autoforums.com and found mistakes and flaws in your code. I hope you do not intent to incorporate these into this web site.

Third. I was considering becoming a contributor, yet I find myself wondering to whom my money will be going to. Perhaps some more information on a root company and gaurantees that I wont be seeing advertisements plastered over my screen is in order.

As our new forum 'leader' it is important to talk to your members, make yourself know and provide some information to put your members at ease. You and I both know you didn't start this relationship off very good, don't dig yourself into a deeper hole.

I am certainly glad to see that you took QUICK action to put things back to where they need to be. In fact I commend you for taking such quick action. It was pretty obvious that had you waited a week, you'd pretty much not have a community left.

Over the weekend, we planned to migrate many sites into the AutoForums.com platform. This was a poorly thought-out plan, and one which caused some obvious confusion, and a number of upset members.

Our number one goal in taking the reigns for NissanForums.com was to build the community. We have adjusted our strategy, and realized the best way to do this is through its existing platform, users, moderators and administrators. All future changes will be brought forward from this group - the mods and admins.

We have returned NissanForums.com to its original structure and will be working with the mods and admins moving forward. They will be the ones to lead changes that are requested by the userbase. We will be a silent partner in your community.

We are an enthusiast company - we all love cars as much as you do. It was a painful experience this weekend, and you have my word personally that you will not have to endure this again. This is your community, and we appreciate your loyalty.

Let's write this weekend off to a 'bad experience' and start fresh this week with continuing to make NissanForums.com the best that it can be within its current platform.

Thanks,
Rob Laidlaw

Because I needed to do the upgrade and didn't have time yesterday. Today the server took a dump and only a few minutes ago came back up.

iono i dont like the fact that things have all of a sudden on and off and on again and without us members knowing what going on.

autoforums.com people has a lot of explaining to do with what going on esp to us members and vendors who contributed a ton of money and time to this site to keep it going strong.

For me as a vendor here i frown things arent being told to as what happening and am not pleased with the amount of answers that are not being answered from autoforums.com
