Signatures have been limited to lines of four or less for some time now, however, if certain vB code tags were used the size could still be excessive but pass the four line restriction. No more.

Now if a sig is too long it will be placed into a scroll box, like the following:



If your sig is large enough that it's now displayed inside a scroll box then you're strongly recommended to edit the length to fit the four line limit.

Additionally, signatures are now only displayed once per thread.

I guess that will help things. When you say "you're strongly recommended to edit the length to fit the four line limit", how strong is that recommendation? And four line limit is done under which pixel setting (800x600, 1024x786, 1280X1024, etc)?

ok I'm confused about the pixel setting myself. I'm using 1024 and Istill get a scroll box for mine and several others. Honestly the scroll really sucks and it's aggrivating. Lemon's scrolls for me and he says his is perfect so what's up with that?

A lot of it has to do with your screen resolution. You sig appears fine on my system, but it is 5 lines. At a lower resolution of course it's going to be framed in a scroll box. Keep in mind that the "quote" tag uses 3 lines minimum. If you include something below the quote it also includes a line of white space. My suggestion is find another way to quote someone (like Hendrix did).

What about allowing the use of the {movev} tag in the sig? Everything withing the movev tag will automatically scroll vertically.
