I have a 2000 Maxima GLE and about every 4 months the ECU throws an error code and lights the Service Engine Soon indicator. I've replaced just about every O2 sensor (well, three out of four, anyway) and one coil pack. I also had the ECU reprogrammed to correct a know bug in the firmware. Now the SES light is on again with a code that indicates random misfires. The car runs fine, no obvious issues, with plenty of power and good gas mileage. What's up with Maximas and the frequent SES indicators? Second topic...the power windows on the passenger side--front and back--can be lowered using the switches on the passenger doors, but can only be raised using the switches on the driver's door panel. What;s up with that?
