Hmm. Not sure about the auto climate control or the sunroof. I'd have to look at the wiring diagrams-- maybe you can do so yourself if you have the factory service manual laying around, or maybe someone's posted it on .org...
High idle-- does the car continue to read cold the whole time the idle is high, or does the car warm up and retain the high idle?
If the car takes a long time to warm up and the idle is high because of this, the thermostat may be stuck. Replacing it isn't too difficult, but you have to drain the radiator and stuff.
Fuel economy is impossible to judge without knowing you driving habits. If you're doing short trips on city streets and are always in traffic, 15mpg may be fairly normal for that type of driving. (I saw around 18mpg city in a friend's modified 4th gen automatic). Failing o2 sensors may also be a reason for poor fuel economy-- although there are many reasons, and it's hard to say which with the information you've provided.
