After years driving nothing but Chevy's I needed a good used car and picked up an 02 Maxima GLE. My question involves lights. The front pass. parking light was burned out when I test drove the car a week ago, and appears to be out again. How hard are these to replace and what is the buld #, on-line searches haven't led me to anything so far. Also, how do you replace bulbs in the spoiler mounted brake light. I'm hoping this is the extent of the issues with this car.

You have got to be kidding me. If you think that is the extent of problems with any car you have rediculously high expectations.

To answer your questions.

I'm 99% sure that the bulb is just a 194. As for replacing it. The housing should just pop out. You can wrap a screwdriver in a rag (the tip of it, to protect the paint) and gently try to pry. It's pretty difficult to get at the back of those things.

The bulbs in the spoiler are LED's. All the ones I have seen have been anyway. So you should just replace the strip.
