having a remote starter installed in 2006 Max GLE... tech having problem: brake must be depressed to engage key start... with his hook-up, now can ONLY start car w/remote starter...Ques: is original 'brake depression' interlock factory or after mkt ? if after mkt, would appreciate schematic/advice on ignition ckt.... Tx

You posted in the wrong section there buddy, had me thinking for a sec wondering what
kind of Maxima you got that required that since none of the 00-03 models I know of are
like that.
Anyway, if you want the remote start to work, you have to run a relay parallel with the brake pedal
switch.
I'll try and get a diagram up for that.
Oh, and that switch is a factory safety feature.
