have a ?

whats up guys,i have a 2002 maxima gle and the car wont quit pinging not matter what gas i run day or night.i thought about changing the o2's put they are close to 400 bux for all 4.also is there any little tweaks i can do to get alittle more power?the only mod done to the car is a drop in k&n filter.any ideas would be great and yes im a

Close to $400 for all four is actually a pretty good price... however the most important ones to change are the first three before the main cat.

You've changed the spark plugs? I assume you're running 93 octane?

havent changed plugs yet.those are still 80 bux.the highest octane we have here is 91 at the pump and yes i have ran it for 2 months strait and nothing changed

There's a possibility that the K&N filter contaminated the hotwire of the Mass Air Sensor causing incorrect readings. I would try (carefully) cleaning the MAS hotwire with MAS cleaner or electrical contact cleaner and see if the performance changes.

An ignition coils (or coils) can fail and cause pre-ignition detonation and don't always set a code...By the way: Did you have it scanned for trouble codes?

Personally, I think replacing all of the oxygen sensors is a waste of time and money unless you can confirm they are bad. FYI, only the front (or "upstream" ) oxygen sensors have an affect on engine performance. The rear sensors are only used for monitoring catalytic efficiency.

i have cleaned the mass air and still no better.i'll have it scanned
